又一部以刚踏入社会却失去生活目标的年轻人为主角的群戏，描写四个才二十几岁的大学毕业生遭遇了事业与家庭的不顺，乃经常相约喝酒聊天，并且问道于酒保。这类型的影片已成九十年代美国低成本电影惯见的一种编剧模式，成绩好坏端看导演能够把握生活气氛，以及那群担纲主演的银幕新人是否能演得真相流露。

本套节目是标准公司改头换面包装后的第一部作品，标志不是原来外封上边的CC标准收藏的英文，而是把这个英文改到了外封的侧面，在DVD主菜单也有这个小变化，其实换汤不换药。本片导演诺厄．鲍巴赫尚能拍出轻快的喜剧节奏，影片的头尾也有娱乐效果颇高的爆笑场面，但中间则流于松散和一般化，在内容上没有太多新鲜感。饰演酒保的埃里克．斯托尔兹，几乎已成为此类低成本的最爱演员。
