在20世纪80年代中期，一对加拿大年轻人Bruce LaBruce 和G. B. Jones自办杂志和自制电影向全世界介绍了蓬勃发展的多伦多酷儿同志庞克不同面貌。在这个因特网之前的时代，世界还没办法马上认识这两个特立独行反骨叛逆，无政府主义实验派的激进份子。

但是很快，他们的颠覆性创作从他们的卧室往外流窜，吸引了一群追随者，萌发出一种激进的次文化，挑战了主流同性恋和同志庞克的想象。影片本身就是充满色彩、音乐、艺术拼贴的次文化嘉年华，活力奔放， 反叛力十足。

这是Yony Leyser 第二部纪录长片，他是一位现在驻柏林的美籍以色列/巴勒斯坦血统的美国电影人，努力在柏林充满活力的次文化的地下空间里探索不为人知的精彩故事，他非常具反判力，之前在CalArts的电影学校因为用他的艺术作品来批评院长，而被踢出学校。他的作品特别关注同志与跨性别认同、流行文化和反主流文化。他的影片在超过150个影展放映过。
