一位大型动物禁猎区的管理人Frank Walsh，他押运一艘载满了来自亚马逊、奇异又致命的大型动物的希腊运输船，其中包括一只极其罕见的白色美洲虎。不过致命的动物并不是船上最令人恐惧的生物，一支计划将一位政治暗杀杀手Richard Loffler偷渡去美国的小队也在船上。Loffler随后甩掉看管他的美国警官并放出了牢笼里的猛兽，使整艘船陷入极大的惶恐于混乱之中。Frank必须找出既不伤害动物也能保全船员安稳无恙的方法，同时还要提防疯狂的杀手。
