由日本、加拿大、俄罗斯三国携手合作，共同推出的以第二次世界大战为题材的动画OVA巨作《First Squad: The Moment of Truth》（暂译：第一小队）官方网站已于昨天更新成英文／俄文／日文的综合情报网，并首度公开了一支长达1分12秒的正式版预告片。

《First Squad》的故事背景设定在第二次世界大战爆发几天后的东区战线，德国纳粹军的党卫队（Schutzstaffel，简称SS）司令官Martin Linz意图唤醒出十二世纪时期东征十字军中的“超能力部队”，并组成幽灵军团来攻占苏联本土。剧中的5位年轻男女主角：Nadya、Leo、Zena、Marat、Valya是在苏联军队中服役、接受手术改造的“超能力士兵”，而他们的任务即是尽全力消灭这批幽灵兵团，以击败纳粹司令官的野心。

整个故事的雏形早在2004年便由加拿大Molot Entertainment提出，由于这个娱乐集团在日本首都东京、俄罗斯首都莫斯科都有设立办公室，整个大型企划便顺理成章由这三国共同参与。日本著名动画公司Studio 4℃接下了本片的制作重任，并由赫赫有名的《黑客帝国动画版》和《恶童》的制作人田中荣子坐镇。
