波斯顿最高海军“Ivy League”出身的旗鱼“派”并没有其他鱼儿相象中的威猛，反而只是一条外表平庸的小鱼，因为在一次不幸的意外事故中失去了双亲，伤心的他决定离开故地，只身前往加勒比海岸，然而他却不知道，危险就在那边等着他……

派与其他的鱼不同，他有着极为敏感的内心世界，不过却十分单纯，不懂海洋里的人情世故，未知的加勒比显得那样的陌生。不过初来咋到的他却认识了超级模特“Cordelia”，两鱼一见钟情，不过问题来了，一直对Cordelia虎视耽耽的shark是加勒比一带有名的混混，霸道异常，他怎么能放过这个不知道从哪里冒出来的情敌呢，派当然希望能够以温和的方式解决问题，不过，他也做好了最坏的打算，即使动武，自己也不能后推，毕竟自己是条好鱼，不过……对方叫什么来着？“Shark”？等等，对方不会是鲨鱼吧。

派的猜测完全无误，对方就是一条鲨鱼，很大型，而且他丝毫没有把派放在眼里，或者说加勒比的确的所有鱼他都没有放在过眼里，他不但变本加厉的对Cordelia进行骚扰，还开始了进一步的挑衅，一心想改变加勒比海岸的秩序，自己才是这个地区的头头，所有鱼都要听他的。富有正义感的派终于按奈不住了，勇敢地向鲨鱼下了战书，并在伙伴们的指引下找到退隐江湖的高手“Nerina”，请求他传授传说中的武术秘诀。
