◎简　　介

六十岁的沃特·肖尔是一位强拆公司的搬运工人，也是老板罗兰·格罗恩的拆迁公司里最勤恳、最忠诚的员工。格罗恩谋划了一次涉及家族洗钱活动的拆迁，为此，市中心公寓楼的住户都将被驱逐出去，然后将楼盘以巨额利润重新出售。然而，一名最后剩下的住户拒绝离开他的家。沃特惊讶地发现这个顽固的年轻人是几十年前被他抛弃的儿子。沃特并没有表明自己是他失散已久的父亲，但他试图接近已经成年的儿子扬和扬的家人。当他意识到格罗恩和这单生意的危险性时，他已深陷其中。他想帮助扬远离危险，却以失败告终。为了帮助儿子和自己走出困境，他不仅要面对邪恶的老板，还要面对自己的过去。
