呈现马来西亚历史幽魂与西方文明混杂，犹如寓言般的心灵景观。 亚当是鉴识组的摄影师，近五个月来发生一连串的谋杀案件，让他无法继续胜任鉴识摄影师的工作，总是躲在公寓里免费电影他感到兴趣的人。而侦搜组的探员曼恩征调他继续协助。这系列谋杀案的共同特色就是死者经络被挑开、血液被放干，而且现场会遗留一个被敲碎的骨董玻璃摄影负片，亚当希望可以冲洗出破碎的玻璃负片，并从中找寻命案相关的蛛丝马迹。接着亚当发现，他在公寓免费电影的女子依娃，原来和命案有关，她向亚当揭露一个百年来鲜为人知的神秘案件，百年前她族人被外人用相机禁锢了灵魂，这些族人的灵魂必须透过巫师作法对选中的人抽筋放血并敲碎玻璃负片，才能重获自由。从单纯的调查凶杀案逐渐卷入原始部落的神秘传说，亚当和曼恩共同历经了一场光怪陆离的超自然事件。
