威廉姆斯综合症的患者往往对音乐有着极为强烈的热情，与此同时个性亦非常的友善。加布里埃尔（Gabrielle Marion-Rivard 饰）就是这样一位年轻的患者。在合唱团里，加布里埃尔邂逅了和自己有着一样遭遇的马丁（亚历山大·朗德利 Alexandre Landry 饰），心心相惜的两人很快就走到了一起。
然而，两个威廉姆斯综合症患者在一起生活的日子并不简单，他们所面临的问题，要比普通的情侣多得多。当两人的地下恋情终于曝光的那一刻，这段感情立刻遭到了双方家人的强烈反对。悲伤的加布里埃尔离开了家人，也离开了马丁，善良的姐姐索菲（梅丽莎·德索蒙斯-波林 Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin 饰）决定助这对苦命情侣一臂之力。
