导演楼一安受报道文学启发，虽以随机杀人为引，却不对加害者或被害者妄下批判，透过叙事观点与人物机缘转换，将冷血杀人魔还原为人。六个角色如同六道轮回众生，沉沦也好，绝望也罢，善恶有时只不过是偶然，当阿修罗被黑暗吞噬，人又怎样才算完整？黄圣球、莫子仪、黄姵嘉悟道重生，王渝萱凝练一身顽强与脆弱，潘纲大黑暗中兀自闪耀。
