一出四十年前未拍完的恐怖电影《血腾腾》，传言具有某种魔咒，使拍摄的人会受咒而死。当年《血腾腾》的电影导演希拉莉要拍好一部惊天动地的恐怖片，拍摄途中，男主角戴上电影角色疤面人的面具将她血腥谋杀，男主角企图对女主角云丽莎施毒手，却反被她杀掉。而当年担任电影《血腾腾》副导演，正是学生的电影系教师罗老师。
一群不知天高地厚的学生，却要以完成这部电影作品作为毕业作品。十四年的今天，曾拟再度开拍该片但死去的监制的妻子玛花，答允投资开拍此片，电影《血腾腾》当年女主角云丽莎担任女主角，罗老师又成为云丽莎的助手。但拍摄期间，一连串怪诞恐怖的事情发生，学生们陆续被杀……
