《骡子》是编导演于一身的安格斯·桑普森在看到新闻报纸上的一条在边境处身体贩毒的新闻受到启发的。起初只是单纯的一条社会新闻，但是随着时间推移，警方等待排便检查，时间一天天过去，又新闻变成了新奇，大家完全好奇不是是否体内藏毒，而是到底几天能出结果，因为毒品在体内也是危险的状态。影片中，就是这样一个平时邻里都不勒的修理电视机的阿呆。因为一次意外中大奖获得去泰国旅游的机会，被自己的坏盆友怂恿教唆贩毒来比横财。在将一公斤的毒品吞入体带回国入境时被扣下。在旅馆拘禁看守等待排便检测的过程中，一直死守坚持没有带毒.......
