“紧急宣言”是航空术语，指飞行器面对灾难状况，机长在无法实现正常飞行的情况下下达的无条件着陆宣言。而该片也正是一部航空灾难电影。

《紧急宣言》也是宋康昊继《优雅的世界》和《观相》之后与韩在林导演的第三度合作。该片将于今年年内完成前期制作，预计明年上半年开机。
