◎简　　介

中世。父の神を祀る山部一族の東の荘の当主?高丸はある日都から鬼丸と名づけた異様な容貌の童児を連れて帰った鬼丸は下男として仕えたが、高丸の嫡子?秀丸は鬼丸に嫉妬した。秀丸の妹?絹は京に上り巫女となる身だったが、鬼丸に惹かれて一計を案じ、西の荘の嫡子?光彦に嫁ぐことにした。式の前日、鬼丸と絹は結ばれ、変わらね愛を誓い合った。高丸が侍に殺され、家を出ていた秀丸が妻?紫乃と嫡子?良丸を連れて帰り、東の荘の当主となった鬼丸が姿を消して数年後、絹は光彦との間に女児を出産した。東の荘では紫乃が野盗に輪姦さされたあげく殺され、秀丸も村の衆に惨殺された。代わって鬼丸が東の荘の当主となり、光彦の妹?妙を下女として迎えた。絹は産後の日たちが悪く、やがて息を引き取り、鬼丸には狂気が兆した。妙は鬼丸に犯された後縊死し、光彦も野盗によって殺された。絹は娘にも自分と同じ絹という名...
