在《封面女郎》（Cover Girl 1944）与另一舞王吉恩.凯利搭档演出正对了丽塔.海沃思的戏路。她在《生活杂志》(Life)刊登的照片供不应求，成为被派到海外作战的美国大兵最受欢迎的海报女郎，甚至在第一颗被扔到比基尼岛试验场上的原子弹上面都贴有丽塔的照片，其性感“威力”由此可见。
