新加坡的一家高档酒店内，工作人员与客人们上演一幕幕底色不同的人间喜剧……

胖侦探（郑则仕 饰）为取得年迈委托人少妻与一男子（秦祥林 饰）偷情的证据，在酒店房间内安装摄像头，但闭路电视的接收房间却入住了三名乐队成员。这对情人在发现摄像头之后百般掩饰，乐手与服务员们却在电视机前看的不亦乐乎；署名“吴资”的骗子（吴耀汉 饰）入住酒店，却被经理（胡枫 饰）误当做低调检查工作的日本总裁。骗子借势大占便宜，从酒店狠捞一笔；旅行团导游（曾志伟 饰）为人好色，被旅行团内仇恨花心男的精神病患钟小姐（钟楚红 饰）盯上，好色导游面对钟小姐的剔骨刀无可奈何之际，另一名悲情女护士安琪（夏文汐 饰）也找上门来；迷恋女上司（王祖贤 饰）的酒店技工（张学友 饰）苦苦求爱，不经意间忽视了假小子同事（叶童 饰）的默默付出。
