本片荣获美国电影电视剪接师协会最佳纪录片剪辑奖、2008北美广播影评人协会奖最佳纪录片奖、2007芝加哥电影评论协会奖最佳纪录片奖、2007拉斯韦加斯电影评论组织奖最佳纪录片奖、2008纽约电影评论圈奖最佳纪录片奖等，并与导演之前两部作品《克伦拜恩的保龄》、《华氏911》并称为“高调三部曲”。
