人迹罕至的野外，人们突然发现了一具死于锐器插头的女童尸体，黄警探（黄锦燊饰）受命负责此案，各种线索迅速汇集，犯人的身份很快真相大白，原来竟是女童生父林伟（艾飞饰）亲手用九寸钉杀害了女儿。林伟对罪行供认不讳，但提出自己之所以这样冷血是被人下了降头的缘故。三个月前，林伟随旅行团赴南洋旅游，一心求艳遇的林伟在街上偶遇一位泰国女郎，林伟误会了对方的身份，玩起了感情游戏，轻易付出承诺却无心兑现。结果在两人约定的日子，林伟周围开始发生一系列怪事，先是胸口长出了一团毛发，小女儿的举动也变得怪异，疑心女儿要加害自己的林伟不堪重负，将女儿杀死……

犯下重罪的林伟请求黄警探查明真相，于是后者远赴南洋，进入了降头的神秘领域。
