◎简　　介

曾经赛场上叱差风云的铁榔头郎平（巩俐 饰），退役之后执教美国排球队。2008年北京奥运会，郎平率领的美国对和老朋友陈忠和（黄渤 饰）执教的中国队对阵北京，在击败陈家军的那一刻，她也承受着莫大的非议和争论。2013年老队友的去世，似乎在她心中注入了一股力量。是年，郎平回国，再次披挂执教中国女排。她大刀阔斧改革落后的训练模式，并大胆启用张常宁、惠若琪、朱婷等优秀人才。然而需要阵痛，更需要勇气，在这一过程中无数的苦难险阻横在这支女排队伍的面前。
最终郎平带着女排姑娘们走上了2016年里约奥运会的竞技场……
