克林伍德夫妇（Monica Potter & Tony Goldwyn 饰）携女儿玛丽驱车来到湖畔别墅度假，刚抵达不久，玛丽（Sara Paxton 饰）便开车去找朋友佩姬（Martha MacIsaac 饰）玩。期间她们邂逅碰巧路过此地的青年贾斯汀（Spencer Treat Clark 饰），在男孩的邀请下，玛丽和佩姬一同前往贾斯汀所在的旅馆。
