◎简　　介

1585年，此时伊丽莎白一世（凯特•布兰切特 Cate Blanchett 饰）已经52岁。她单身未嫁，政治手腕已经非常成熟，处理国务也比年轻时得心应手。她思想开明，允许人们信仰罗马天主教。然而，却屡屡受到苏格兰女王玛丽•斯图亚特的种种对抗，玛丽甚至派杀手暗杀伊丽莎白未遂。
