◎简　　介

当第三季开始时，故事时间已经过去三年整，Noah一直在监狱里代替前妻Helen服刑。Helen试图让女儿Whitney相信Noah并非真的有罪，但Whitney根本不听。Noah三年刑满后获得自由，但他很快发现过去的阴影仍然存在，他的精神状态变得非常黑暗，重获新生谈何容易。与此同时，Alison一直无法忘记失去第一个孩子的痛苦，而且女儿Joanie的抚养权官司也一直没有定论。虽然Joanie是Cole的亲生骨肉，但Cole已经决定抛开往事，与Luisa组成新的家庭。Helen现在的事业很成功，但在荣誉光环之下，她其实比谁都糟糕。在家中，她和男友Vic的关系很不确定，和孩子们的关系很不稳定，而且她始终有强烈的负罪感。
