◎简　　介

西葫芦不是蔬菜，而是一个勇敢的小男孩。“西葫芦”的外号是酗酒的母亲心血来潮给他取的。有一天他在玩易拉罐的时候惹恼了妈妈，害怕惩罚的他不小心把妈妈送上了天堂。

他失去母亲后，被送到了一家儿童收留所。在那里，他遇到了很多遭受过不同变故的新朋友，以及他的“初恋”——卡米莉。他们各有各的过往，这些过往很艰难，却也充满温情。

十岁的时候，有一群小伙伴，有一个爱着的人，还有很多要探索、要学习的事情。那为什么不能过得幸福一点呢？
