◎简　　介

一个受着街坊欢迎的道观，内里的主持，既是道家师父，更是哲学智者—彭百川（郑少秋 饰）。因缘际会，分别遇上张汉忠（麦子乐 饰）、徐伯强（陈安立 饰）、司马至全（游学修 饰）三个年青人，并收为徒弟。四师徒分别破解街坊闹鬼问题，渐有名气。一天，第七行动组邀请了彭师父帮忙，凭着道家智慧和法术，四人接连破案，渐被认可为第七行动组的顾问，成为了第一代“诡探”！故事以1980年代香港做背景，当中更涉及中国民间传统迷信习俗，如盂兰胜会、冥婚、五狱成仙等，题材充满神秘色彩。
