◎简　　介

本片讲述的是巴伐利亚国王Ludwig II的历史故事，从他1864年加冕直到1886年去世，为巴伐利亚凭添一份肃穆而灰色的浪漫。国王除了一些怪癖之外还因为另外的事而著名：他将巴伐利亚卖给了德国；他在全国建造了大量令人惊叹的城堡（最著名的便是Neuschwanstein Castle）；他是Richard Wagner的主要赞助人，却被他无情抛弃；还曾经爱上了表姐奥地利公主Elisabeth。最终Ludwig II预见到自己悲惨的死亡，他的尸首在施塔恩贝格湖中被发现，但死因一直不明。
