◎简　　介

长今（李英爱饰）出生在一个贱民家庭，他的父亲徐天寿原来当年曾是内禁卫军官，奉命赐予废太后允氏毒药，随后允氏的儿子燕山君登基继位，天寿为了保全自身，辞官而去。天寿在途中救了长今母亲，两人结为连理，隐姓埋名。岂料皇上燕山君如今欲为母报仇，下令追捕所有当年参与杀死允太后的人，长今母亲逃难路上不幸丧命，临终前嘱咐长今进宫。失去了父母的小长今幸得宫中熟手姜德久一家收留，并在他的安排下进入了宫中御厨房做工，开始了她漫长的宫中历程。
韩尚宫（梁美京饰）非常照顾聪明好学的小长今，然而崔尚宫却因为与韩尚宫的不和而对长今处处刁难，每次在崔尚宫的设局陷害下，长今都以自己的蕙质兰心和坚持不懈一一化解，然而她母亲的身世秘密却逐渐浮出水面，还有更大的困难挡在长今的面前。
