上世纪90年代后期火爆全球的两大欧美男团“后街男孩”（Backstreet Boys）和“超级男孩”（NSync）即将携手合作，一起出演电影。

这部电影名叫《死亡7人组》（Dead 7），由“后街男孩”年纪最小的成员尼克·卡特（Nick Carter）编剧和主演，目前加盟的有“后街男孩”成员霍伊·多罗夫（Howie Dorough）、亚历山大·詹姆斯·迈克林（A.J. McLean）以及“超级男孩”的成员乔伊·法登（Joey Fatone）。

尼克·卡特介绍说，《死亡7人组》是一部糅合了西部片、僵尸片、恐怖片、科幻片的低成本电影，当然影片中还会有大量的音乐剧元素。

乔伊·法登作为目前加盟该片的唯一一位“超级男孩”成员十分兴奋，他坦言自己加盟这部影片就是为了打破人们对“超级男孩”和“后街男孩”不和的看法。

“超级男孩”中发展最好的贾斯汀·提姆布莱克（Justin Timberlake）目前还没有加盟这部《死亡7人组》，他上次出演电影是2013年的《醉乡民谣》（Inside Llewyn Davis）。而“后街男孩”上次出现在电影中是塞斯·洛根的喜剧《这就是末日》（This is the End）。

《死亡7人组》由《鲨龙卷》（Sharknado）制片人大卫·拉特（David Latt）负责制作，据他透露，把后街男孩和超级男孩拉到一起拍这么一部类型片的创意一经披露，立刻就引来了大量平台、发行商和电影公司，他们都对这一计划十分感兴趣。
