电影版《Battlestar Galactica:Razor》，Razor的故事和主剧第三季和第四季并没有时间和剧情上的关系，Razor主要讲的是在战舰Battlestar Pegasus帕伽索斯在到卡拉狄加之前几个月发生的事情。

本人认为该剧是最好的星际类电视剧。剧中对人性（比如爱，贪婪，宗教信仰等）及现代社会制度（比如民主政治，军事独裁等）进行深度挖掘，不仅仅是单纯的科幻剧。该片对此也有所体现。个人建议，至少看过第一季电视剧再看该片会好懂很多。
