◎简　　介

故事发生在19世纪末的法国，单纯美丽的女孩柯莱特（凯拉・奈特莉 Keira Knightley 饰）嫁给了身为作家的男子威力（多米尼克・威斯特 Dominic West 饰）。在丈夫的支持和鼓励之下，柯莱特拿起了笔，开始以自己学生时代的经历为蓝本进行创作，并且最终完成了她的第一本小说。让柯莱特没有想到的是，威力竟然将小说冠上了自己的名字出版，这部小说一经出版就在文坛中引起了轰动，威力一举成名。
自此之后，威力发现了妻子身上出色的文学天赋，于是开始逼迫她继续做自己的枪手，当柯莱特忍无可忍拒绝了丈夫的无理要求后，威力竟然暴力相向。威力有了外遇，而柯莱特也发现，自己虽然身为女性，但是对女性有着强烈的吸引力。
