◎简　　介

面包厂的阿忍（许冠杰 饰）和拖车厂的阿神（徐克 饰）、阿庆（泰迪罗宾 饰）因一场小车祸双双丢掉工作。阿忍面对抚养自己长大母亲只得谎言应付，阿庆则跟随好友阿神回家，暂时住在同一屋檐下。
所谓不打不相识，三人因此事件却成为了好朋友，最终进入皇帝面厂工作，但上班第一天便遇到了麻烦。车间主任（吴孟达 饰）和厂长任人唯亲，颠倒黑白，为包庇一个犯错的女人企图开除三人顶包。多亏董事长女儿阿美（王祖贤 饰）帮助才保住工作。自此，三个好朋友连同阿美与腐败的厂长一伙展开了笑料百出的斗智赛……
