◎简　　介

青木原位于日本富士山脚下，浓密深郁的树丛遮天蔽日，故又得名"树海"；因其交通便利又兼具高度隐密性的特点，这片森林成为了自杀者的圣地。美国人亚瑟·布伦南(马修·麦康纳饰)来到这里意欲结束自己的生命。在路上，他意外地遇到了一位对死亡犹豫不决的日本人中村工(渡边谦饰)，他正要走出森林。两个命途迥异的人于是踏上了一条相同的路。
