《我的恶魔兄弟》的外景地设在伦敦东区的下层社会，讲述了阿拉伯二代移民兄弟拉什（詹姆斯·弗洛伊德 James Floyd 饰）和小莫（法蒂·艾沙耶德 Fady Elsayed 饰）的街头生活。英俊的哥哥拉什是当地帮派成员，用出售毒品的钱补贴家用。哥哥是小莫崇拜的偶像，他一直希望可以跟着哥哥大干一场。然而拉什对弟弟有不同的期许，他希望弟弟能上大学和出人头地。当挚友死在街头械斗中后，拉什开始反思自己的生活，决定洗手不干。他成为了一个摄影师的助手，结果两人竟发展出意外的感情关系。而知道哥哥的性取向后，小莫对哥哥的看法一落千丈。愤怒迷茫的他开始混迹黑帮，准备拾起哥哥抛弃的过去......

本片是英国女导演莎丽·艾尔·胡赛因的长片处女作，获得了2012年圣丹斯世界剧情片单元的最佳摄影奖。评委会盛赞该片“让当代英国社会的一个小片段呈现出了炽热和跳跃的戏剧张力。”此外该片还获得第62届柏林电影节欧洲影院特别奖、英国独立精神最佳新人奖和伦敦电影节最佳新人奖等诸多肯定。
