祖母将加斯东对琪琪的感情全都看在了眼里，开始想方设法撮合两人。一番波折后，琪琪和加斯东终于两情相悦了，加斯东不仅送给琪琪珍贵的珠宝，还带着她出入各类上流社会的高档舞会。面对突如其来的荣宠，琪琪有些得意忘形，而她的所作所为没有逃过加斯东的双眼。
