新世纪某个圣诞节前夕，在美国一座位于沙漠腹地的餐馆内，美丽的克莱尔（阿德琳妮·帕里奇 Adrianne Palicki 饰）和男友吉普（卢卡斯·布莱克 Lucas Black 饰）正全心期待新生命的降临。这一天，一名看似和蔼可亲的老妇人造访餐馆，却说出不详的话语，并引发难以想象的血腥争斗。正在此时，沙漠尽头的天空出现诡异景象，仿佛预示着灾难的到来。
