◎简 介
对在纽约的多数人而言Skipper、Kowalski、Rico和Private只不过是四只住在中央公园动物园的可爱企鹅。这也正是他们故意留给别人的印象。为什么呢？因为这些看似平静温和的企鹅其实是一群有着无可匹敌的突击能力的“精英力量”。他们的使命是什么？－－维护动物园的秩序的同时到处“招惹是非”。而这次他们的敌人又是何方神圣呢？令人讨厌的“章鱼博士”。多年前，章鱼戴夫曾经是动物园里最受欢迎的明星，但自从企鹅们出现以后，再也没有人看戴夫的表演。从此他只能辗转与各大动物园。后来戴夫决定要对企鹅们进行报复。他制造了“美杜莎液体”想把企鹅们变成怪物。在Skipper的带领下，4只企鹅为了对抗这个自以为是的“紫色坏蛋”，在“执行任务”的过程中笑料百出、欢乐不断，他们需要和神秘的“北风”特工局合作，通过聪明才智和团队合作一起击败“章鱼博士”，拯救所有企鹅。
花絮
.为四只企鹅配音的都是梦工厂动画的幕后人员，比如给老大斯基普配音的汤姆·麦克格雷斯，他曾执导轰动一时的《马达加斯加》且创作了许多角色，他也是本片的制片人。
.本尼迪克·康伯巴奇从未和约翰·马尔科维奇在电影中合作过，对他来说，约翰·马尔科维奇是一个传奇。可惜，配音工作通常需要单独进行，所以两人直到在圣地亚哥动漫大会上的推广活动时才见面。
