至于饰演罗伊的妻子丹尼丝的内洛普·安·米勒(Penelope Ann Miller)，她可能对“影响美国电影史”没什么太大的兴趣，只是觉得彭家兄弟的执导方式非常有趣：“我只能通过他们的眼镜来分辨他们，因为他们长得实在是太像了。片场的情形大至是这样的，早上拍摄的时候，导演席上坐着的是彭发，到了下一个场景，可能是下午，可能是第二天，这里就变成了彭顺。”如果他们中的一个轮到当导演，另一个就编辑前一天拍摄的胶片……这是彭家兄弟一直以来的拍片方式，在香港是如此，在美国也不例外。
