◎简　　介

曾是美国隐形特工绰号“闪光人”的杰克（史蒂文?席格 Steven Seagal 饰）退役后在纽约当了一名普通的刑警，这次他遇到了退役后的最大一个挑战。洛山矶出现了一个神出鬼没、手法残忍的连环杀人狂，当地警察费尽心机都没能找到罪犯的蛛丝马迹，使得当地人心惶惶，于是警局局长想到了杰克。

杰克身负重任来到了洛山矶，在这里和他拍档的是经验老到的警探金（基伦?埃弗瑞?韦恩斯 Keenen Ivory Wayans 饰）。两人因作风和手法的不一致而产生了许多矛盾，但为了尽早完成认为，两人都只能忍气吞声迁就对方。杰克和金共同布下了天罗地网，不料却被狡猾的凶手逃脱了。与此同时，新的受害者竟然是杰克的前妻和她丈夫，而现场证据竟然显示杰克就是凶手！
