◎简　　介

宾夕法尼亚电视台的天气预报员罗斯（约翰屈伏塔饰演）是镇上家喻户晓的人，他超级爱耍阔，以贷款买了顶级名车与豪华别墅，不仅如此，罗斯还想靠自己的知名度经销雪车，闯出事业的另一片天。

但时运不佳，正逢暖冬，雪车在南部的生意失败，陷入了金融危机, 乏人问津。然而罗斯每个月还是得缴付庞大的贷款，凭他播报气象的微薄薪水根本付不起，面对资产将被银行查封的命运，罗斯走投无路，在脱衣舞夜总会老板(Tim Roth饰)的怂恿下, 铤而走险，说服了电视台主持乐透开奖的克丝德（莉莎库卓饰演），他们暗中对乐透球动了手脚。

乐透开奖当日，一切正如他们所预期的，顺利的赢得大奖，欣喜若狂的他们还来不及去兑领现金，一波波令人错愕的意外、暴力、谋杀、背叛，如巨浪般席卷而来。
