◎简　　介

斯塔克公司最新研制的天幕卫星“霍华德”即将升空，它超强的监视功能饱受争议。而托尼·斯塔克则饶有兴致地与战争机器詹姆士·罗德穿着各自的铠甲进行连番惊险刺激的较量。就在此时，号称“突击兵”的武装机器人入侵发射场，与钢铁侠和战争机器展开激烈的混战。而指挥部方面，一名自称以西结的神秘白色铠甲人释放出神秘生物细胞，杀害了所有眼前的生物。钢铁侠在与他的对决中遭遇惨败，指挥塔也彻底毁灭。在此之后，他拒绝向神盾局汇报细节，独自一人找到正在休假的佩珀·波茨，一同调查以西结的身份及其真实目的。
