艾米（米拉·索维诺 Mira Sorvino 饰）是业内小有名气的建筑师，强大的工作压力让她有些喘不过气，为了放松，艾米来到了位于纽约北部的一个恬静小镇度假，在这里，她遇见了名叫维奇奥（方·基默 Val Kilmer 饰）的盲人按摩师。维奇奥拥有一双神奇的手，在他的抚摸之下，艾米的疲劳一扫而空，随后，两人坠入了爱河。
