◎简　　介

女演员丽贝卡（朱莉安 摩尔Julianne Moore饰）和好友伊莱恩（玛姬 葛伦霍 Maggie Gyllenhaal饰）各自的感情，似乎都说明了男人不可信。丽贝卡有一个性欲旺盛在家待业的丈夫汤姆（大卫 杜契尼 David Duchovny饰），不过丈夫在婚姻中得不到性生活的满足，令他在外面的世界变得不堪一击。自从遇到孩子同学的母亲后，二人就如同干柴烈火走到一起；而丽贝卡，一边为失败的婚仪倍感崩溃，一边亦面临着年轻小生的倾慕。

伊莱恩是个作家，对婚姻大事非常苦恼。她八年来的男朋友——丽贝卡的弟弟托比（比利·克鲁德普Billy Crudup 饰），从来不把结婚放在日程表里，她无法忍受遥遥无期的等待，于是选择分手。而托比，亦和他的前度恋人打得火热，在失去伊莱恩之后，他才渐渐体会到她的无可替代。

这两段感情，看来已经千疮百孔了，丽贝卡和伊莱恩该就此放手，还是另有转机……
