CW于11日宣布了动画系列剧《自由战士：射线》(Freedom Fighters: The Ray)制作计划，进一步扩展其《绿箭侠》《闪电侠》《女超人》和《明日传奇》宇宙。

该剧改编自DC漫画，讲述雷蒙德·雷·特里尔(Raymond "Ray" Terrill)运用光能维护正义的故事。
