朗治是巴尔塔开的小印刷厂的文员，他在业余时间写作印第安题材的是通俗漫画作品和小说，有天老板告诉他有人要出版他的小说，这让他欣喜若狂，这是却发生意外，老板因为诈骗案件而携款潜逃遭遇车祸，生死未卜，印刷厂群龙无首，乱成一团，于是，有些文化的朗治被大家推选为管事的，印刷厂成为了合营企业，在他和的员工的努力下，工厂的运作出现了转机，大家也获得了效益，朗治的漫画系列经过改良成为了畅销书，正当他们欢庆成功的时候，大难不死的老板巴尔塔回来了，他表示要收回印刷厂并且要取得先前的全部盈利，朗格十分气恼和他理论，可是，巴尔塔态度强硬还告诉朗格连他的女友也属于他，这激怒了朗格，朗格开枪击毙了这个蛮不讲理的家伙，在众人的帮助下，带着女友远走高飞……
