孤男寡女相识于战火纷飞之中，苏珊和卡瑞尔之间的关系很快便逾越了单纯的友情。回到部队后的卡瑞尔将自己的传奇经历告诉了弗朗塔，并将弗朗塔介绍给了苏珊。令卡瑞尔没有想到的是，苏珊深深的爱上了稳重帅气的弗朗塔，卡瑞尔和弗朗塔之间的友谊因此而产生了裂痕。
