现时，北极地区已成为研究重点，科学家揭露了全球人类活动正如何影响这片遥远脆弱的地方。全球暖化对北极地区的影响比其他地方更为严重，北冰洋上的永久浮冰已缩减近百分之七十，如情况持续，终有一天北冰洋在夏季将完全无冰。世代生长在这片冰天雪地的动植物和居民能否适应这种变化？
