大导演彼得·杰克逊担任监制的纪录片《西孟菲斯》在年初的圣丹斯电影节上首次亮相即获诸多好评。电影聚焦了发生在1993年美国阿肯色州的孟菲斯有三名男童被杀害事件，三名嫌疑人全部被判以终身监禁加死缓。不过三人一直声称自己是无辜的，并在狱中不断做着各种努力。2011年，因为出现了新的证据，这三个人得到了缓刑。本周本片发布了新款预告片。

《西孟菲斯》的导演兼编剧由曾凭《大急救》入围第78届奥斯卡金像奖最佳纪录长片的提名的爱米·博格担纲，他通过这部纪录片重构当年的一切，并且向我们展示了调查、诉讼等一系列从未曝光的资料。
