■故事梗概：

泰勒是个自幼父母双亡的女孩，长到20多岁的时候，她和好友安吉在纽约都有了工作，但紧张的节奏使她们产生了离开的想法。她们准备到好莱坞发展，可是一辆糟糕的汽车毁了她们驾车横穿美国大陆的计划。不得已，她们只好乘坐巴士。

在亚里桑那换司机的时候，她们碰到了第一次上路的新手巴士司机吉米。到达目的地后，吉米和泰勒互换了联络方式。第二天，泰勒和安吉开始在报纸上寻找工作，泰勒找到了一个慈善活动策划人的招聘启示，于是上门应聘。招人的男子是个生活悠然自在的富家公子哥，名叫斯格特，他仰仗家庭的背景，吃穿不愁，通过搞一些社会活动提高自己的知名度。他看中了泰勒的美貌和才干，欣然聘请她做了活动策划人。...
