由于瑞普利一心觊觎迪基的生活，最后这样的欲望竟扩张成想要将迪基取而代之，他缜密的心思不仅令人咋舌，而冷静的犯罪手法更教人措手不及。就在他陶醉于亲手打造的美梦中时，瑞普利因为一次意外的巧合害他露出了马脚，于是引起警方的注意并展开调查……
